ABOUT HAUKI

Hauki was born as an University thesis at the Istituto Europeo di Design  (IED) in Milan from the idea of ​​three students, Daniel Bertollo, Simone Centonze and Michele Martelloni. The thesis course "Innovation Startup" involved the creation of a 360° startup, from the concept, the 3D model, the marketing part up to the creation of a prototype. A journey that lasted, a year that led to the creation of Hauki.

Daniel Bertollo

Daniel Bertollo

Product designer with a technical basis from his career as a surveyor in high school. He is passionate about the world of sailing, a lover of nature and excursions. Active in the social and environmental field with various activities.


His main role in Hauki is the visual part, he was also part of the process of making Manta.

Simone Centonze

Simone Centonze

Product Designer with a background in Environmental engineering, fond of extreme sports from climbing to surfing. In particular, from the mountains to the seaside everything connected to exploring, just like sup exploring.


Bearer of Hauki’s vision, responsible for Manta’s design, engineering and prototype.

Michele Martelloni

Michele Martelloni

Product designer passionate about water sports, surfer and surf instructor for years.
He worked in marble quarries,

also managing the marketing side of important companies in the sector.

His role is to manage the marketing and communications part of Hauki.
